This is the future. The future looks bleak.

Although the world is united as one nation under the Consortium, half of its citizens have disappeared without an explanation. Music, books, art and free speech have all been prohibited under punishment of death. The nation is split into the stupid and the smart. Diet, hobbies and routines are all monitered by the Consortium's secret police; the entire world is ruled by one giant iron fist.

But through this, an underground rebellion of rockers is rising. They want their sounds to be heard again, they want to be able to listen to their i-pods without fear of being 're-educated', they want a paradise of music.

Amos Harvey lee is one of them, and he has to convince adrenalin-junkie Raphael that he's one too...

..and that he can lead the underground rebellion for free music.

Hullo all, this is a book idea -obviously- that I just wanted to get some feedback on before I consider writing it seriously. God knows why I put it on Bebo for that, but other literary sites are either jam-packed full of authors or just lacking in readers. --; No thanks.

Please no flames.

DEFINITION: A flame is a review that simply states 'this story is shit' without giving any real reason for such a statement.

By all means say you don't like it, but help me improve by telling me what sucked and what needs improving. It'll help me as a writer. Many thanks.

Moving on, this story was inspired by my History GCSE on Nazi Germany and Hitler. You may see little bits of that shining through, or even some George Orwell inspirations. That's all intentional. :D

I have read the first part, and I truly thought it was genius. For a start, the plot is unique. I doubt this has been done on any similar level before. I love how the idea of the re-educating camps have made an impression, reminds me of History lessons all too much! The way in which you've written this really reflects your ability as a writer as well as a daydreamer, lol. Well done on making such a remarkable story.

As a humble fan, I order you to write more. ^^
The characters are stark and believable, but at the same time every one of them contrasts the others very well: you've got an amazing eye for character development, and I applaud you for it. There are a few grammar mistakes here and there and some sentences could have been written better, but the overall story has an amazing amount of potential. I can't wait to see what you do with the plot, and look forward to seeing more. Kudos.
